Description

This substation is the first 400 kV substation in Nepal and shall host three 400/220/132 kV autotransformers each of 315 MVA capacity. Transportation of these transformers are of major concern for this substation. Two of the three transformers are on the way to site after customs clearance. NEAEC has completed 90% of the Design Review. Factory Inspection Test of major equipment has been completed. All the major equipment have arrived on site . Construction Supervision of Civil works is ongoing. Testing of last transformer was carried out in September, the Consultant's representative witnessed the test, and has been set clear for site delivery. Other major components have reached the site
